About Me

About Me

Hi, I’m Marcin.

I’m currently on a journey into cybersecurity, focused on building real, practical skills through hands-on experience. Most of my learning comes from platforms like Hack The Box, where I work through machines, practice enumeration, and try to understand how systems actually break.

Why this blog?

I created this blog as my personal knowledge base.

Instead of keeping scattered notes, I document everything here:

  • techniques I learn
  • tools I use
  • mistakes I make
  • and lessons that actually stick

This helps me stay consistent and track my progress over time.

What I focus on

My main areas of interest include:

  • enumeration and reconnaissance
  • system exploitation
  • building a structured workflow
  • understanding why things work, not just how

My approach

I believe in learning by doing.

This means:

  • breaking things
  • fixing them
  • repeating the process

I’m not here to present polished expertise — I’m here to improve, step by step.

What you’ll find here

On this blog, you’ll find:

  • Hack The Box write-ups
  • notes and cheat sheets (like Nmap, workflows, etc.)
  • thoughts and progress updates from my learning journey

Final note

If you’re on a similar path, feel free to follow along.

This blog is as much for me as it is for anyone else trying to get better in cybersecurity.
